Our Top Restaurants and Bars to Visit During NYFW

New York Fashion Week is quickly approaching and we all know how busy of week it tends to be. I know my head is always spinning and I try to find time to sit and enjoy a great cocktail and meal in the midst of everything at cool spots I don’t normally get to go to. Whether you are in New York City for events for the fashion industry or live here and are looking for the hottest cocktail bar, traditional dishes or festive atmosphere during fashion month, I’ve got you covered! These are the hot spot locations you’ll want to check out not just this week, but any time you’re in NYC!

First and foremost, we all know Bond Street has some of the best places to dine and enjoy a cocktail at the perfect place. This is a stunning cocktail bar with arguably some of the best and most unique cocktails around town! Moreover, they have tons of specialty cocktails featuring their Eastern Medicine, Bond Bubbles, Starlit and plenty of martini and zero proof choices. If you’re taste buds are craving a bite, they have a delicious food and snack menu. One hundred percent, you will want to relax here with a drink in hand at the end of the day after all of your events with fashion insiders.

Secondly, what better way to end the day than a warm atmosphere at a wine bar with beautiful people? Le Dive is a natural wine bar that is French Tabac-Inspired. Located on Canal Street, it’s not too far from all the action and is the perfect spot to unwind with a friendly atmosphere.

Tucked behind a discreet blue door on West 52nd Street, So & So’s is the ultimate if you know, you know spot for NYFW. Inside has vintage-inspired lighting and a glowing piano stage set the scene for chic nights of cocktails, conversation and music. With celebrities among its A-list fans, this hidden gem is the kind of place where fashion insiders slip away from the spotlight.

GITANO is the ultimate NYFW escape, blending Tulum’s tropical jungle vibes with sweeping East River and Brooklyn Bridge views. The stunning indoor-outdoor space, complete with 30-foot ceilings, lush greenery and NYC’s largest disco ball sets the scene for nights of elevated dining and dancing. With bold modern Mexican dishes and mezcal-forward cocktails, this waterfront hotspot is as stylish and vibrant as the week itself.

The Standard, High Line’s new summer pop up, The Standard Soda Shop, brings a retro Americana vibe to the hotel’s iconic plaza. It’s perfect for a chic late-night diner-style bite during NYFW. This spot has an 18-foot circular bar, umbrella-lined tables, Moonburger’s smashburger meal and they are serving Van Leeuwen ice cream. With playful cocktails, homemade sodas, and even a pie of the day DJ booth, it’s a nostalgic escape tailor made for fashion week nights downtown.

The Mark Restaurant by Jean-Georges is an Upper East Side favorite, offering subtly innovative European classics infused with his signature global flair. Its striking copper and glass wine wall showcases a curated collection of boutique and familiar bottles, making it as refined as it is inviting. A celebrity go-to within the iconic Mark Hotel, it’s the perfect spot to unwind in sophisticated style between NYFW shows.

This location is a part of the Public Hotel on Chrystie Street. Special mention that they are open until 2AM and 4AM most nights, so it’s a favorite spot for late night adventures one fashion week evening. Live music, small bites and delicious drinks are served here and then they turn into a microclub after dark! They have an entire section on reservation inquiries, so you will want to look into it for some of the best panoramic views to show off on social media this week!

If you want a dining experience with a New York twist, you’ll want to check this one out! Bar Moga is a 1920’s Japanese Cocktail bar that has much more than a quick bite. The menu features items like Katsu Sando, Kogashi Duck Roast, Kari Kari Vegetable Ramen and amazing cocktails. It’s located on W Houston Street between Soho and the West Village, so it’s one of the best restaurants near the shows this year.

Executive Chef Ethan Stowell created this restaurant to pay homage to his award-winning Seattle Restaurant. You can find this recent addition on the second floor of the Nordstrom flagship. So a bit away from all the action, but I know a ton of visitors stay in midtown, so it’s one of the great restaurants to enjoy this week! Book your reservation for the most delicious sharable plates.

Talk about swanky, this is a great place! Enjoy amazing bites like tuna tartare, uni, wagyu beef tartare and some of the best cocktails in townn! Pay attention to the dress code–dress to the nines! Dress to enjoy a nice dinner, basically, which I know nobody attending NYFW will have any issue dressing for. Make sure you get a reservation!

This signature neighborhood brasserie is fully inspired by European romance. Pretend you’re at Paris Fashion Week, in the city of love here! There are seasonal dishes full of flavor and this is a good reason to sit down and have a really nice meal in the city.

Let me start out by saying this place has caviar cannolis! They also have scallops, yellowfin tuna, octopus, steak tartare, pasta and so much more! If you’re looking for a hearty Italian spot with some of the freshest fish in the city, I highly recommend booking a reservation here!

Another Italian spot I love is Fasano! A few dishes I recommend are the crudo di mare, risotto di astice and the dentice. There are tons of options, so everyone can find a dish they absolutely love. If you love live piano, you can enjoy bites and drinks and listen to the soothing sounds of the beautiful instrument.

Rounding out the roundup with the coolest Brooklyn spot! This neighborhood spot is known for seafood towers and mouth watering martinis. The cassis julep and espresso martini are a force to be reckoned with. They’re open until 3AM, so you can go after your last event of the night!
