New in my Closet – 9to5chic

Having the best time with the Hobbs team and the women they’ve gathered to celebrate their Fall collection in London and Richmond. Before the event, I got to visit the store and try on all of my favorites. Sharing what made it into my closet:

• This navy jacket in the softest wool blend (sharing how it moves in my reel today!). This one is going to be an easy go-to, it’s an elevated take on the chore jacket (fully lined!). I’ll throw it over jeans and a sweater on any given day. I wanted to have an oversized look and sized up 2 sizes.
• This olive sweater set. Sweater sets are really hit or miss for me: the fabric has to have the right weight and stretch for it to look polished. This one is the BEST sweater skirt I have ever worn (comparable to one I have by The Row, but at a much more reasonable price!). It moves so nicely and is comfortable all day long. It doesn’t stretch out either, which is key! I always size up on sweater skirts, so instead of my typical US4 in the brand, I’m wearing a US6. I’m wearing a Small in the sweater.
• This 100% wool jacket in chocolate brown with a subtle contrast collar – again, the fabrication is everything! Beautiful quality and the extra collar detail is so subtle but it makes it stand out among the rest. It’s fully lined and so so luxe. I’m wearing a US4.
