The annual Easter Parade and Bonnet Festival is one of NYC’s most charming spring traditions. Held along Fifth Avenue, it’s filled with elaborate hats, festive outfits, and plenty of photo-worthy moments. It’s a cheerful, free event perfect for all ages. Be there on April 5th!

We actually really enjoy going as a family and it’s super easy to get to Yankee Stadium using public transportation for New Yorkers.

It’s an ideal outing for families, couples, or anyone looking to soak in the season. If you haven’t seen the cherry blossoms before, they truly need to be at the top of your list of things to do.

As temperatures rise, rooftop season begins across the city. Spots like JIMMY, Loopy Doopy Rooftop Bar, Refinery Rooftop, and The Ready Rooftop offer stunning skyline views and a relaxed way to enjoy spring evenings. It’s one of the easiest ways to feel like you’re on a mini escape without leaving the city. It’s a nice way to ease into outdoor activities while enjoying good cocktails.

The Brooklyn Marathon brings high energy to the borough on the 26th. Runners and anyone looking to just watch the race can enjoy a scenic route through North Brooklyn and Prospect Park. Even if you’re not racing, it’s a fun event to cheer on.

Market 57 at Pier 57 is a must-visit for food lovers. Featuring vendors supported by the James Beard Foundation, the market highlights diverse, sustainable dining options. Don’t miss the rooftop for incredible waterfront views. It’s a popular place and an even better way to spend a day.

Step into a world of color at Color Factory in SoHo. This immersive experience is constantly evolving, and spring brings fresh, seasonal installations inspired by the city in bloom. It’s a fun, photo-friendly activity for all ages. There really aren’t long lines to deal with and the kids love it there!

The Orchid Show at the New York Botanical Garden is a must-see before it ends on the 26th. Featuring stunning floral displays and artistic installations, it’s a peaceful escape from the city’s bustle. Perfect for a slower, more scenic day. We love floral displays and this one never ever disappoints. It’s a great place to stop on the way to a fun brunch, too.

Car enthusiasts won’t want to miss the New York International Auto Show running the 3rd-12th. Showcasing the latest in automotive design and innovation, it’s both interactive and informative. A great indoor option for unpredictable spring weather.

Celebrate Scottish heritage at NY Tartan Week, featuring a lively parade on the 11th, performances, and cultural events. It’s a unique way to experience global traditions right in the heart of NYC. The parade is free and full of energy.

Celebrate National Burrito Day

Mark National Burrito Day on the 3rd by grabbing a bite at El Vez, known for its standout burritos and festive vibe.
