A charming book for young children. The book details the life of Ogel the octopus, who was born with a deformity. Her friends overlook her differences and accept Ogle for who she is. Ogle’s parents arrange a 5th birthday party for her. Tutu and Tula, the turtle characters are invited to attend. The party is crashed by a hooligan gang of bad boy lionfish who bully Ogle and try to steal the birthday treats. Upset by their antics, Tula goes to find help from other adults. She encounters Officer Barney Baracudda, the local police officer. After explaining the situation, he goes with her to stop the bullies.The story has three messages for children. Firstly to accept a person’s differences. Secondly, don’t act like a bully or get involved with bullies. Thirdly, seek assistance from someone in authority and don’t try to solve a problem that is big and beyond the capability of the person.
