The Children’s Show 2025: Virginia Zingone ’s Visionary Platform for Kids’ Fashion

CHILDREN’S SHOW SUMMER 2025 edition.
Mark your calendars: the Children’s Show makes its return on July 27–28, 2025, taking over Chelsea Industrial in New York City for its highly anticipated fourth edition. Produced by FB International and organized by IEG USA, the show has quickly risen to become a must-attend event on the international kidswear calendar—uniting top-tier children’s fashion brands with influential buyers, editors, and creatives for a high-impact, beautifully curated experience.
Set in the heart of Manhattan’s gallery and exhibition district, Chelsea Industrial offers an inviting, ground-level venue that’s both spacious and intimate—ideal for exploring the latest collections in a design-forward, industrial-chic atmosphere. This summer’s show will spotlight 60 standout brands from the United States, Italy, France, Portugal, Australia, the United Kingdom, Spain, Brazil, Canada, Sweden, Denmark, and Germany.
At the center of this movement is Virginia Zingone, the powerhouse founder of the Children’s Show and a visionary with a long-standing legacy in kidswear. Born into a family deeply rooted in children’s fashion, Virginia grew up immersed in the business before taking on leadership roles that would define her international career.
She rose to prominence as the Imports Manager and Partner at Carter’s & OshKosh Italia, where she introduced American staples to the Italian market with great success. Later, she launched her own eponymous label—Zingone—solidifying her role as a creative and strategic force in the industry.
But it was the founding of Italian Kids Brands, the very first New York-based showroom exclusively for Italian children’s fashion, that laid the groundwork for her most ambitious project yet: the Children’s Show. With this event, Virginia created a space that is not just about aesthetics, but about meaningful business outcomes, long-term brand growth, and community.
“Being part of the Children’s Show is like joining an exclusive community where your brand is truly valued and supported,” she explains.
Today, Virginia continues to work closely with international partners, press, and emerging designers to nurture talent and push boundaries—ensuring the Children’s Show remains a powerful bridge between creativity and commerce.
One of the key highlights of the Children’s Show—and a favorite among buyers, press, the creative team, and kids themselves—is the Kids’ Fashion Runway, directed by renowned creative director Aleksandra Ataca. This captivating show will unveil Spring/Summer 2026 collections, brought to life by 40 talented young models from around the globe. Expect fresh silhouettes, playful statements, and inspired takes on the season’s biggest trends—all part of a runway that champions global kids’ fashion with heart and flair.
Complementing the runway is a robust lineup of industry panels, interactive workshops, and VIP networking events, carefully curated to foster innovation, encourage connection, and cultivate community across every corner of the children’s fashion world.
Beyond its stunning visual presentation, the Children’s Show is a strategic powerhouse. The event features a personalized matchmaking program via the TwoToTango networking platform, enabling exhibitors to create brand profiles, pre-book targeted meetings, and connect with key buyers and press—ensuring a strong return on investment before the doors even open.
